Taking a Stand against a cheating partner

It is difficult for a person to deal with a cheating partner particularly when it becomes a habit. There are several ways of dealing with cheating partners but the most important is letting them know you do not condone such habits and will not be a part of their lives.

Taking a Stand against a cheating partner involves helping your partner by attending rehab together, helping stop the bad habit through counseling and move forward together; but this is exceptional when the cheating partner is willing to change.

Poem for the Day - Fear of being broke

Always vulnerable
Leaning to debts
Allergic to lack
Emotionally derailed
Saving every penny
Starving to survive
For fear of lack

Taking a Stand against Peer Pressure

Peer pressure can be so overwhelming it grows with a person even till adulthood. It has been so bad over the years it has lead to suicide among youths and psychos as well as serial killers among adults.

Peer pressure begins from the home among siblings and few parents, though more rampant in the school and clubs. Young people trying to belong to a group or social class, going out of their way to become someone they are not and end up being bullied.

Taking a Stand against Peer Pressure can be achieved by shunning bullies and avoiding them; also by being you and being around people who do not care about class, status or money; people who plan for their futures and are responsible in society-people like yourself.

Poem for the Day - Fear of fellow men

Lurking in the shadows
Moving behind poles
Fear of being seen
Heartbeat so loud
Fear of someone hearing
Twas a decade now
Could not stand men
Full of evil they were
Best thought was to hide
And buy at night
No life had he
But one behind doors
Tightly shut

Taking a Stand on Beliefs

We all believe in different things; myths, tradition and culture. But this can be difficult when the people in our inner circle have different beliefs. It tends to deviate us from our beliefs and makes us even doubt what we do believe in.

As an individual, every human has the right to believe in whatever makes them feel comfortable. We must always strive to make ourselves happy; because it is our happiness that reaches out to others.

Taking a stand on our beliefs means no matter what our friends say or think, as long as we can defend what we believe in and it does no harm to ourselves and others, then we must take the stand and stick to what we truly believe in.

Poem for the Day - Fear of the Unknown

What is not known
Cannot hurt
What is not sown
Cannot rot

Knowledge of fate
Hurts deeply
Never can be late
When thought closely

Free living
Makes life longer
Generous giving
Makes life sweeter
